On a beautiful, sunny but cool day, members of the Waldwick Lions Club, with some helpers, pitched in to clean out the garden beds at the Lions Memorial Playground. They then put down 50 bags of plain cedar mulch on the flower beds, and also on the bare ground between the beds and the path to the entrance.

It does seem that the Lion bench approved the cleaning and manicure of his play area, with the sly wink of his eye!
